Colleagues Across the Nation Show Their Support for Dr. Rochelle Walensky

On Sunday, December 6, 2020, news broke that Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH, Chief of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and Steve and Deborah Gorlin MGH Research Scholar, was nominated by President-elect Joe Biden to be the next Director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Since then, friends and colleagues across the nation have been voicing their support for Dr. Walensky on Twitter. We share in their joy and thought we’d share some of our favorite messages.

As Chief of the Division, she will be missed, but her colleagues will continue to cheer her on!
