The Mass General Research Institute Image Awards were created to celebrate research at Mass General and share the amazing science that takes place her with this world.
We received 64 images from 23 departments, units and centers across Mass General this year.
During public voting earlier this month, the gallery of images was viewed 14,151 times and 3,801 votes were cast in the process of selecting the People’s Choice award.
Our team has also selected three finalists in each of the four categories: Humans of MGRI, A Closer Look, Science as Art and Mixed Media. The winners will be announced at a reception for the finalists early next year.
We can’t thank the Mass General research community enough for the time and effort that they spend each year to submit images and tell us the stories behind them. Thank you, thank you thank you!
In our view, you are all winners!
