In our quest to make science more accessible (and fun) to broader audiences, our team created Break It Down For Me! A series that challenges investigators to break down the title of their (complex and, oftentimes, nearly impossible for the layperson to understand) study in simple and relatable terms.
This series was created with one main goal: to make science accessible to as many people as possible (and have a little bit of fun along the way).
Our second challenger in the series is David Sykes, MD, PhD, from the Center for Regenerative Medicine. He broke down the title of his paper titled Transfusable neutrophil progenitors as cellular therapy for the prevention of invasive fungal infections.
